The wife, mom, + photographer who is guaranteed to always have a smile on my face and who makes this about so much more than photos.

A new hobby I picked up a few years ago can also be known as having a green thumb. I have 40+ indoor house plants that depend on my daily attention and until recently with the selling of our house grew a large garden in the summer. Not only does that kind of care + compassion apply to my green babies, but in many other aspects of my life as well. It’s there in my marriage + relationships with clients and friends, most of which crossover. I give so much into every single relationship in hopes to see it grow + flourish. I do this because I care so deeply about everyone I am very blessed to work with. When I begin to build a relationship with someone, I am not a scratch the surface kind of gal, I will love you, serve you, and care for you deeper than the ocean. I want to know about your best days + your worst days, what lights your soul on fire, and what keeps you up at night because when I know those things, I know how best to serve you.

 Something that especially means the world to me + that I take the most serious is my marriage. The vows of my marriage are ones that I completely take to my heart no matter how hard or messy as it sometimes may be. I will forever be there to encourage my friends + family through their marriages, I will always encourage my clients to make their wedding day completely about who they are, and will do what I can to ensure that the kindled friendship built through this process of working with me doesn’t die out post photo delivery. I will support you in the traditional or non-traditional choices you make while planning your wedding + be there to remind you what that day of unity is all about when the stresses of planning it get to you. When the day is done + the photos are out of my hands and into yours that doesn’t mean that my care for you no longer exists. Your wedding day will be the easiest day of your marriage + I am thankful to be there for it. If you ask me to be, I will also be there for the days that are hard. To listen to your sorrows, offer you my best advice when asked for it, and for the joyful hugs + verbal congratulations when things are going amazing! Just as you have made an investment in me, I have made an emotional investment in the people who chose me to document some of the most important moments of their lives and it is one that I will forever hold close to my heart.

 While home is where my heart is, adventure is my middle name + my heart skips a beat in nature. Hiking and exploring new areas centers me and gives me time + space to think. I have found extra meaning in that by sharing those spaces with my family. I am in constant pursuit to create memories + chase dreams and have developed the ability to turn my dreams + others into memories. While finding myself and building friendships amongst the beautiful wonders of this world, I feel equally as honored when I am invited into your space of comfort to create with you, wherever that may be.

I am an avid lover of all livings things. I have chose to live my life by choosing to be loving + accepting of ALL things and I refuse to see people for what they (or others) think of as their flaws. Instead, I will love you as you are + serve you as the lovable, worthy, human beings that you are.

When I am happy, I sing , I am always dancing + I love smiling and laughing until my face hurts. So if I could choose one word to be remembered by it would be joyful. I am always in pursuit of being silly, happy, laughing, and spreading joy.
